Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HESI Scout (the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. HESI Sports Consulting (“HESI”) may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. The Platform

HESI Scout is a basketball athlete profile, discovery, and scouting platform. It publishes verified athlete profiles, event leaderboards, rankings, and editorial stories. The Platform is provided for informational and exposure purposes.

3. Athlete Profiles

Athletes (or their guardians) are responsible for the accuracy of information they submit. HESI reviews profiles before publishing. Athletes may request edits or removal of their profile at any time.

Published profiles are publicly visible. Athletes acknowledge that profile data — including name, position, country, film links, and event statistics — will be accessible to all visitors.

4. Event & Competition Data

Event leaderboards, box scores, and player statistics are sourced from official event providers and displayed on the Platform. HESI does not claim ownership of sourced event data. All event data is attributed to its source.

5. Scouting Submissions & Contact Requests

Scouts, coaches, and organizations may submit scouting notes or contact requests through the Platform. Submissions must be professional, factual, and free of harassment. HESI reserves the right to remove submissions that violate these standards.

Contact requests are forwarded to the relevant athlete or guardian. HESI is not a party to any subsequent communication or agreement.

6. Minors

Profiles for athletes under 18 should be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. Guardians are responsible for reviewing and approving all media and information published on a minor’s profile.

7. Acceptable Use

• Do not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Do not harass, impersonate, or misrepresent other users.
• Do not attempt to access non-public data or systems.
• Do not use automated tools to scrape or redistribute Platform content without permission.
• Respect the privacy and rights of athletes and other users.

8. Rankings & Scouting Signal

HESI rankings and scouting signals are based on published event data and platform-defined methodology. They are indicators of performance and exposure, not definitive assessments of athletic ability.
